Stratford School Names New Leadership for Los Angeles Melrose Campus

Stratford School, an award-winning private preschool through 8th grade school founded in Silicon Valley, is proud to announce the school leadership appointments of Ms. Rebecca Coen, Head of School, and Ms. Jamie Patrick, Director of Lower School, for the Melrose campus in Los Angeles.

Ms. Coen brings to Stratford School more than 15 years of educational experience as a teacher and administrator in the United States and Canada. Most recently, she has lead schools in the Los Angeles area. In her new role with Stratford, she embraces an emphasis on its exceptional educational and staff development programs, as well as ensuring a positive experience for its growing school community.

Ms. Coen holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of British Columbia and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from California State University – Northridge. She is an alumnus of the Art of Leadership program at Harvard Graduate School of Education.

In July, Stratford welcomed Ms. Jamie Patrick, Director of Lower School to the leadership team. Ms. Patrick has extensive experience in education both as a teacher and an administrator. Most recently, she was Assistant Director of Education at Pacific Asian Consortium in Employment in Los Angeles. She holds a bachelor’s degree in child development and a master’s degree in human resources management from Concordia University, St. Paul, Minn.
