Welcome to Stratford School’s Altadena Allen campus
Stratford Private Preschool, Elementary, and Middle School in Altadena is committed to providing quality education and care to children in the Pasadena, San Marino, Arcadia, Monrovia, La Crescenta, La Cañada, Sierra Madre, Los Angeles and Altadena communities.
Nestled in a quiet, residential neighborhood, our Altadena Allen campus currently offers a balanced and enriching educational experience for preschool through middle school. Our campus features 15 renovated classrooms, a multi-purpose room, a library, a field, and abundant outdoor play areas.
Our Altadena campus features two specialty programs, Mandarin Bilingual Preschool and Early Preschool. Mandarin Bilingual Preschool is offered exclusively as a “five-days per week” program to create a truly immersive environment with consistency and continuity. Stratford’s same rich Preschool curriculum is taught by a two-teacher team, one speaking and instructing in Mandarin and the other in English. The Early Preschool program starts at two years old and is also a “five-days per week” program. It serves as a stepping stone for children to develop new skills and get acquainted with a school environment. The program is designed to build children’s confidence and inspire joyful learning through exploration, inquiry, and discovery.
We invite you to tour our campus in Altadena, speak to our Head of School, Judy Burbank, and experience the Stratford difference. We look forward to meeting you and your child!
