Stratford Private Preschool, Elementary & Middle School in the Richmond District near Golden Gate Park, San Francisco is committed to providing quality education and care to children in the Little Russia, Central Richmond, Inner Sunset and Presidio Heights communities.

Located on 14th Avenue, nestled between Cabrillo St. and Balboa St., in the heart of the Richmond District and just a few blocks from San Francisco’s iconic Golden Gate Park, this Stratford campus is convenient to reach from 19th Avenue and city neighborhoods that run along the Park Presidio and Balboa Street.

Our 14th Avenue campus offers an innovative and intentionally balanced STEAM-based curriculum for students in Preschool through Grade 5. The thoughtfully designed learning spaces include a STEAM lab, library, music room, urban outdoor playgrounds for elementary and preschool students, indoor gym, and two floors with bright, cheerful classrooms. And a spacious multi-purpose room with a well-equipped stage is ideal for student performances and special events.

Unique to this Stratford School campus is its Mandarin Bilingual program. Stratford’s Mandarin Bilingual Preschool through Elementary programs are immersive, five-day-per-week programs designed to promote consistency and continuity in learning a second language. Students enrolled in the Mandarin Bilingual program will build upon foundational knowledge, skills, and concepts in our core STEAM curriculum. As well as gain a cultural experience and understanding in a fun, enriching learning environment. Stratford’s robust Preschool and Elementary curriculum is taught by teachers speaking and instructing in both Mandarin and English.
