Teresa Wertman joined the Stratford family 9 years ago. Before taking on her current role as Principal of Stratford’s San Bruno El Camino campus, she served as the Director of Early Childhood Education at the Crestmoor Canyon campus. Teresa brings over 30 years of experience in the field of Early Childhood Education to her role.
As an educator, Teresa believes it is her job to nurture the uniqueness of each student and inspire them to become life-long learners. She knows that listening is paramount to her role and strives to help students explore their ideas, curiosity, and dreams.
Teresa loves that Stratford approaches daily learning by infusing a liberal arts education with STEAM inspired learning. She is proud to be a part of the Stratford School family. Her love for children and building partnerships with families continues to fuel her passion for education.
Teresa is also passionate about building strong relationships with her students, families, and staff within a warm and collaborative environment. Teresa support’s students to be excited, curious, and ask questions about the world around them in a caring educational environment of the San Bruno El Camino campus.
