Ms. Deshmukh has been an esteemed educator for over 20 years, holding the roles of teacher, director, and headmaster. For the past six years, she’s led the Stratford School, Milpitas Great Mall Parkway Campus, transforming it into a vibrant hub for preschool through 8th grade. With degrees in Microbiology and Biochemistry and an MBA in HR, she champions a diverse STEAM curriculum driven by her love for math, science, literature, history, and the arts.

Ms. Deshmukh excels at building community ties and showcasing the school’s talents alongside local leaders. Her pride shines through students’ achievements in everything from spelling bees to sports and arts. She attributes the school’s stellar reputation to its strong community support and the collaborative spirit of its staff and parents.

Outside school, Ms. Deshmukh enjoys hiking, solving puzzles, and exploring the world with her family. But her true passion lies in guiding students through their transformative years and preparing them for their futures. As she steps into her new role at Stratford Preparatory Milpitas, she’s excited to foster a dynamic and supportive middle and high school environment.

Associate Head of School, Beth Redington joined the Stratford Preparatory Milpitas team after a distinguished five-year tenure in upper school leadership at BASIS Independent Fremont, where she served first as Director of Academic Programs and then as Head of Operations. During her time at BASIS Independent Fremont, Ms. Redington played a pivotal role in expanding the school from grades 6-8 to grades 6-12. After seeing the success of her first graduating class as they joined some of the most prestigious universities in the country, she is now enthusiastic about llending her expertise and contributing to the growth of Stratford Prep Milpitas.

Before transitioning to school administration, Ms. Redington gained extensive experience in various fields, with a notable focus on workforce training. She thrives on collaborating with teachers, administrators, and parents to achieve exceptional educational outcomes for students, finding the process both invigorating and gratifying. “It is a privilege to witness the students’ growth and accomplishments,” she says.

Ms. Redington earned a BA in Math and Physics and a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies. Outside of her professional life, she can be found exploring Bay Area hiking trails, solving crossword puzzles over coffee and enjoying leisurely meals with friends and family.
